CLOSEI was going through a terrible divorce and was a single father when my 6 year old son, Aiden< became very ill. Aiden had gotten a viral brain infection called encephalitis. This was Feb. 1st 2011. I was watching my son fade away day by day. My church, Sandals in Riverside< was there for us the whole time. I spent many times crying out to God to heal my son. One Tuesday night while I was praying I told God that I was thankful for the time I had with him and I would love to have him healed, but if it was his time to go then don't let him suffer. The next day Aiden started to get better and a week later he went home. 2 weeks later Aiden was playing baseball and we went to see his nurses. One of them told me that the doctor didn't think he would make it. It's been over a year and Aiden I a normal 7 year old boy with a love for the Lord. God new he was an idol in my life and when I gave him to God, the Lord healed him. No Aiden has a even more loving heart for people and is not shy to welcome them and show them love. I know God has great plans for my son.
