Listener Stories

from Stephanie G....

I grew up in church but went several years not going to church. When my mother passed away, God drew me near to him (because He's that amazing and true!) and I have been born again. I had lived in ... morethe inland empire for years before I knew about this radio station. I listen online when doing my homework and in the car. I love it because it seems to always fit the mood that I'm in. I remember listening to a pledge once and they said that they pray to God about the songs that they should play for that hour or day. Your prays are answered because it's not just a coincidence when I hear a song that I needed to hear or works for a DJ that made me feel better. I have not done the dollar a day pledge but I do donate when I can because I believe we need to keep God in the inland empire. Love to you all, Heather

Donate to KSGN - Guiding Principles for Stewardship

  1. Remember that money isn’t ours — it’s God’s.
  2. Invest funds wisely with the mission of leading people to Christ and nurturing believers in their spiritual growth.
  3. Recognize God is a God of abundance and demonstrate faith in God’s provision.
  4. Communicate the ministry’s financial need in an accurate, non-manipulative way.
  5. Promote that giving is an act of worship, reminding donors to give their first fruits to their own church and then prayerfully consider supporting other ministries, including KSGN.
  6. Provide opportunity to follow Christ’s teachings about giving so donors experience the joy of helping the poor, including widows and orphans.
  7. Welcome financial support of any amount and remind donors that God multiplies our giving when we are obedient to do our part.
  8. Be transparent about the station’s financial position, making available pertinent financial documents.
  9. Safeguard the trust of donors with strict financial controls and accountability.
  10. Maintain internal standards and practices that retain and further the ministry’s good standing with accreditation agencies, including the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
