Family Friendly 89.7 KSGN has teamed up with Second Harvest Food Bank to make sure our neighbors in Riverside and San Bernardino are fed this summer!

We've all heard the news ... Economic times are tough. So much so middle class families now need assistance. Second Harvest Food Bank recently shared with KSGN that the increasing need for food will continue to grow even greater during the summer months when school's out and free school breakfasts and lunches go away. Families are already struggling to pay the bills. For many that means more groceries while the kids are on summer break. Groceries for which there is no budget.

It's difficult to imagine that kids here in the community go hungry. It's not just third world kids. It's the boys and girls next door and across the street. When we heard about the need we knew you would want to know. Your regular giving already supports spiritual food on the radio in the form of encouraging and uplifting music. Now you'll literally be helping to feed hungry kids along with seniors, single moms and other neighbors in need. When you share a gift of $250 or more on your credit/debit card you'll continue to help the radio station cover operating expenses and a portion of your gift will go to Second Harvest Food Bank to sponsor 65 meals this summer!

This is an opportunity for the KSGN family of listeners to work together and literally be the hands and feet of Jesus. It's no secret that KSGN has our own budget shortfall. Funds are low and there's catching up to do by June 30. But we are resolved to press on. We will not compromise this radio ministry's mission to share Christ with Southern California. When you ask the question: What would Jesus do? The answer is clear.

People are hungry and we need to feed them. Please click here to share a gift now.
