On Transfiguration Sunday, March 3, at 3:00 pm, choirs from seven local churches will join together to present a special concert at Calvary Presbyterian Church, located at 4495 Magnolia Avenue.
Each choir will sing one or two choral works. Then they will join their voices together to sing two pieces as a mass choir, including the chorus “And the Glory of the Lord” from Handel’s Messiah. The concert will also include performances by handbells, organ and brass.
Admission is free, but an offering will be received.
