La Sierra University’s Department of Music will present its 70th Annual Candlelight Concert in two performances—Fri., Dec., at 7:30 p.m., and Sat., Dec. 2 at 4 p.m.
La Sierra’s music ensembles, instrumentalists and soloists will perform a repertoire of Christmas works including Adolphe Adam’s “Cantique de Noël,” Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Christmas Carols,” Gustav Holst’s “Christmas Day,” and a sing-along “Hallelujah Chorus” from George Frideric Handel’s “Messiah.”
These free performances celebrate 70 years of beloved holiday tradition at La Sierra University.
