Loma Linda University (LLU) invites you to hear Dr. Cedric Dent and Take 6 Feb.13 & 14. In celebration of African American History Month, the School of Religion's humanities program presents two events as part of its "Art that Heals" lecture series. Sat, Feb.13 at 3pm, Cedric Dent, PhD, member of the Grammy award-winning group Take 6, will present a lecture/recital on the history of gospel music. The event will be in the Damazo Amphitheater in the Centennial Complex (24760 Stewart St) on the campus of LLU. This lecture is free and open to the public. Dr. Dent is a tenured professor of music at Middle Tennessee State University. Then, Sun, Feb.14 at 6pm, Take 6, along with Mt. Rubidoux Praise Team and Voices, will be in concert at Loma Linda University Church (11125 Campus St). Tickets for the concert are: general seating $30, transept seating $20, and front section seating $100. Tickets can be purchased at Loma Linda Campus Bookstore, Adventist Book Center, LLU student services, LLU School of Religion, and Berean Christian Store in Redlands.
