One in 68 children is now being diagnosed with autism. Now more than ever, parents are motivated to take a stand and learn how to help their children as early as possible. Singer, songwriter, author and speaker Gina Walden will be hosting a first-ever Autism Conference at The Rock Church, Riverside on August 23. “A Brand New Day” will be the first annual conference to educate, inspire and encourage parents with autistic children or children with any form of disability. Speakers include Special Education Teacher and Author of “Autism is not the End,” Janelle Espling along with mother and author of “The Art of the Spectrum,” Ashley Blair Hill. Karen Connell, who is a mother and special education advocate will host a session on “Being your child’s best advocate/Navigating school services.” Hosts, parents and authors of “A Brand new Day,” Brian and Gina Walden will teach on “Believing for A Brand New Day” and “Keeping the Family Strong Through the Trials of Autism.”
This is a Free Event designed for Parents of Children with Autism. No Children Please. No Child Care is Provided. We invite you to Come and be Encouraged, Uplifted and Prayed for. All Speakers are Parents or Teachers of Children with Autism. Also Speaking is a Medical D.A.N (Defeat Autism Now) Doctor and Parent of a Child with Autism.
